The versatile 6500 portable, low-profile wheelchair scale features a high 1000-lb/450-kg capacity, two-way easy-access ramps, flexible cable remote display for tabletop or wall-mount viewing, 2.2-in/5.6-cm thin platform for easy accessibility, 0.2-lb/0.1-kg clinical accuracy, black rubber mat for traction, two guide handles and two wheels for vertical transport mode, and 32 in x 36 in / 81 cm x 91 cm platform size. Despite their size, these wheelchair scales are amazingly easy to handle. Since the display is connected to the scale by a long coiled cable that extends up to 14 ft / 4.2 m, it can be positioned where the healthcare professional can most easily read the results. The 6500 comes with the MedVue multi-functional indicator with alphanumeric keypad and RS232 and USB ports (optional Wi-Fi and Welch Allyn connectivity). Displays height, weight and body mass index onscreen simultaneously.
With built-in ramps for entering and exiting the scale, Detecto’s American-made 6500 portable scale is perfect for any wheelchair application. You may key in the wheelchair weight, so that only the patient weight is displayed. A low-profile easily accessed platform measures 30 x 32 inch (76 x 81 cm flat portion). Powered by 6 C batteries (not included) or optional AC adapter. l dual wheels and carrying handles, EMR/EHR connectivity for efficient records via the scale’s RS232 serial, USB, or optional wired or Wi-Fi Ethernet communications. 1,000 lb x 0.2 lb / 450 kg x 0.1 kg capacity. OIML EC Class III model available.
